A string of prayer beads connects a grandchild with her family across war, exile, and geographical distance. In a quiet living room in Sweden, Sara writes a poem to her grandparents, opening up an inner landscape of memories and heritage. Through her words, the film explores what remains to be carried forward as language and memories slowly fade across the distances of diaspora.
