Per-Henrik Mäenpää is a composer and sounddesigner working with film. With a past as a soloartist in the late 90- s, Per-Henrik has been focusing on writing music for picture, wich have resulted in many awardwinning movies such as “Women with cows” 2011, “The Laserman” 2006 and “The incredible horseman” 2006. Per-Henrik has written music to over 50 movies that have been screened on the Swedish television SVT and on festivals around the world. What is significant for Per-Henriks compositions is that he often uses his own voice as an instrument. He also has a nordic melancolic love for old instruments like organs and vibrafones that he collects and experiments with in his studio in Gothenburg/Sweden. Parallelly with composing Per-Henrik often creates the sounddesign. This marries the music with the soundscape and creates a strong total experience.
